Life can be overwhelming at times. My mission is to meet individuals where they are, while assisting them in finding peace and enjoyment in their life experience. I enjoy working with teens, teachers, new mothers, couples, women navigating fertility issues or pregnancy loss, couples, and blended families. As a parent and former teacher, I understand development and complexities of the child and teen years. I believe that with a clear understanding of oneself, we can function with more agency and purpose. My goal is to validate your experiences and support your journey towards finding your best self. My counseling approach focuses on determining the unique goals for each client, without judgment. Working collaboratively with individuals and using both research-based and trauma-informed methods, I integrate DBT, EMDR, CBT, and Gottman method as appropriate in therapy. I provide strategies and tools that increase desired behaviors, while simultaneously helping navigate underlying issues. Congratulations on taking the first step towards a happier and healthier self.
